Trails and Learning Resources
Gardens for Learning develop garden trails and resources for schools and families. Recent clients include Glenveagh Castle Gardens in the Derryveagh mountains of Donegal and Southwark Parks in London. If you would like further information on these projects please contact us.

Carnivorous Plant workshops
We can provide hands-on carnivorous plant investigations following in the footsteps of Charles Darwin and his American correspondent Mary Treat. Our workshops are suitable for upper KS2, KS3 and KS4 students studying adaptations to environment. They combine practical plant dissection with inquiry-based learning. Gardens For Learning works in partnership with The Charles Darwin Trust on these and other 'Darwin Investigates' projects. If you would like us to provide an adult workshop we offer an interesting two hour ‘hands on' course with living plant specimens. We also have a range of lectures available to book please contact us for further details.

Community Gardens
In 2008 Gardens For Learning designed an African Garden to mark the abolition of the trans-Atlantic slave trade for Telegraph Hill Park in Nunhead London. We built and planted this garden with The Horniman Gardens team, Edmund Waller Primary School and Lewisham Parks Service. To watch a film about the project go to Parhelion. If you have a community garden project you would like to discuss please contact us.
